Meet Jackson Pine Farm, a new all-inclusive wedding venue in Jacksonville, Florida. The owners Lauren and Joel are a recent addition to Jacksonville and through a lot of hard work, they have transformed the farmhouse and added a cottage as their bridal suite. The space is just so adorable it's hard not to love every little detail!
The farm story told by Lauren herself : "This humble little farmhouse was built in North Jacksonville circa 1953. The land was used as a wholesale nursery until 1966, when the loving Williams family took it into their hands and hearts as their home. Music and laughter filled the air as little Fran and David grew. The giant shed, now the Bridal Cottage, with rustic, hand built trusses, was better known as the "Rompus Room" was little Fran's happy place, as she rubbed the concrete floor raw with her roller skates and was free to roam and imagine. The Blockhouse Creek bubbling through the land made for endless adventures. In 2016 the Jacksons- Joel and Lauren, after years of prayer of owning their own home bought the property with big dreams. The farmhouse is in the process of a loving restoration. Now booking Weddings for summer 2017!" From: http://www.jacksonpinefarm.com/
The cottage, a bridal suite:
Lauren made that cake herself, and it was so good! Is there anything she can't do?
They have refurbished not just the cottage but also the farmhouse and it's all things country and cute! I love all the earthy accents with the greenery and rustic feel that goes so well together. They did such a great job decorating everything. A lot of the items found in the land were re-purposed into art and pieces of decor.
Their open house was in January 29th 2017, we got a grand tour of the house, the cottage and the land. Below are a few pieces that caught my eye!
The decor continued throughout the house as friends and family gathered to celebrate, eat some DELICIOUS homemade bread, donuts, coffee and refreshments in the kitchen. Lauren planned and prepared even the small details, and let's stop for a minute to admire THAT KITCHEN!
You can also get some farm fresh chicken or duck eggs, homemade bread and cake. Oh, also cute T-shirts and the moth painted artwork by Joel too!
The event was filled with good food, laughter and compliments! The atmosphere was light and fun, I wish the Jacksons success on their new venture!!!
