Welcome to the blog!

Hi there, I am Cat and I am so thrilled you stopped by! I am a wedding and portrait photographer based in Valdosta, Georgia (soon to be Maryland!), where I live with my sweet husband and our crazy rescue pup, JJ.

I am a perpetual traveler, champagne-loving red lipstick-wearer with a passion for telling stories through images, food and travel.

I hope you enjoy  viewing my latest work and getting a little peek into my life. Make yourself at home!

I may be super biased on this session because that's MY DAD and his girlfriend, Ana!!! I am so happy they got a chance to come visit us this summer <3 We were touristing around Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville, and since we were already there, why not get a few pretty portraits of them, right? The lighting wasn't ideal, so we tried some sightseeing on their last day here and I am so glad we did!

I love Pebble Hill, there's just so much to see around there. Ana is an architect so she was really excited to tour the main house (which I hadn't seen yet) and we also strolled around all the beautiful gardens. We also stopped at Drexel Park, Banks Lake and Downtown. I tried snapping a few on the way in case we didn't make it to the final spot (which we didn't).

Their story began online, they actually celebrated 3 years and 3 months while they were here, that's definitely longer than any of my relationships before Kyle -haha, and it doesn't' feel like it's been that long already, but I am so glad they have found each other!  I wish them maNy more years together and more fun trips to come.

Wasn't it too hot, you ask? hahaha well, they live in Recife, Brazil, so the heat and the humidity is their everyday life (although my dad did complain while we were in the amusement parks). They are used to it and when it drops to about 72 Fahrenheit, everyone is complaining about the FREEZING COLD that has plagued them, I personally think it's hilarious and I love, love, love the cold, fall is my jam!!!

Now on to pretty portraits of them!
